Get to know Halifax!

You are invited to come along on a guided walking tour of Halifax to learn about Halifax’s history, culture, and famous places. 

  • Make new friends.
  • Have fun and get exercise.
  • Get settlement information and tips.

The Details

When is it? 

10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on selected Saturdays (weather permitting).

 

Where does it go? 

Downtown Halifax (starting at the Emera Oval – 5775 Cogswell Street).

 

Who is it for? 

Anyone who is new to Halifax including immigrants, international students, temporary foreign workers, or Canadian citizens. 

All ages are welcome, but participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

How much is it? 

Free, but we accept tips in cash, through E-transfer to ian@rightstartcanada.ca, or online at Buy Me a Coffee.
